Home Stay Families
- Characteristics of the homes: hospitable, friendly, safe, secure. Each family is interviewed and home inspected by Conversa’s Director and Home Stay Coordinator.
- Each day, home stay families provide two prepared meals (breakfast, dinner), two snacks and, on school days, a “bagged lunch.” Home stay families expect students to participate various ways as a family member and to respect the same family house rules.
- Our home stay families are ready to integrate the next group of foreign students into life in Ottawa and culture in Canada. They are looking forward to hosting you during your stay in Ottawa, for either the 4- or 16-week immersion program.
